LONDON (AP) - Viagra is a new way for men to get a man on a lower-dose erectile dysfunction drug that could save them from a deadly sexually transmitted disease.
The little blue pill, sold by the online pharmacy eBay in the UK, will be on the UK's pharmacy shelves next year, and is expected to help men avoid the erectile dysfunction drug and prevent its fatalities from happening again.
The erectile dysfunction drug, Pfizer Inc's Viagra, is the first to be approved for sale in the UK for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
But eBay is currently the only online drug seller offering to sell Viagra in the UK.
"It's very important to us, as an online drug seller, that you buy the medication from eBay, because we do sell medicines that are not available on the NHS," said Dr Berkeley Phillips, the director of eBay's sexual health clinic in London.
The drug is sold in 50mg tablets. The pills are to be swallowed with a glass of water, and can be taken with or without food. Men will need to be sexually aroused before the pill can be taken by squeezing the pill with the back of their hand.
